• Points of Pride  
    • High School: 
      • Three State High seniors achieved ultra-rare perfect standardized test scores.
      • State High health education teacher was named the SHAPE America National Health Education Teacher of the Year Award.
      • Senior was named to the girls' basketball Pennsylvania Sports Writers All-State first team for the second straight year.
      • High School senior was named to U.S. Physics Team.
      • State High received a Top Global Learning School Award from AFS-USA for promoting global citizenship through intercultural learning in and out of the classroom
      • National Merit Scholarships were awarded to three seniors. 
    • Middle and Elementary schools:
      • Park Forest Elementary was one of 47 schools nationwide chosen as a US. Department of Education 2016 Green Ribbon Schools “for their innovative efforts to reduce environmental impact and utility costs, improve health and wellness, and ensure sustainability practices.”
      • Radio Park Elementary School fifth-grade teacher was named the 2015 Gilder Lehrman Pennsylvania History Teacher of the Year for Pennsylvania.
      • Mount Nittany Middle and Park Forest Middle school students rallied at Park Forest Middle School and raised $60,115.72 for the Four Diamonds Fund to support pediatric cancer patients. Over the past eight years they've raised $326,000!
      • Park Forest Middle School eighth grader earned a spot on the MathCounts state team to nationals.
      • The Park Forest Middle School Integrative STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) team are the 2016 recipients of the national Gerhard Salinger Award For Enhancing STEM Education Through Technological/Engineering Design-Based Instruction.
    • Athletics:
      • State High Girls' Rugby team won the state championship.
      • Swim teams, basketball teams, tennis, track and field teams won district titles. 
      • Track and Field Teams won state titles.
