I am currently in my 27th year of teaching in the State College Area School District. Current courses are Sports Nutrition, Fitness and Exercise Science, and IB Sports Exercise and Health Science. I received my degree in Health Education from Pennsylvania State University in 1994, then in 1998, my CSCS certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. I also have my Level 2 USAW certification. In 2017, I returned to school and received my Physical Education teaching credentials from Lock Haven University. I also teach CPR and First Aid courses for the American Heart Association through Seven Mountain EMS Council. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Paula; sons, Jake and Nate, and daughter Alli, while working in my church, strength training, and playing guitar.
