My name is Alex Good and I am thrilled to be teaching your child this year! I’m looking forward to a fantastic school year and am excited to create a supporting and engaging environment for your child.
I grew up outside of Philadelphia and attended Penn State University, where I pursued my dream of becoming a teacher. During my time in school, I worked to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Childhood and Early Adolescent Education. I spent the first two years of my career teaching second grade at Ashburn Elementary in Loudoun County, Virginia. After getting engaged in 2017, I moved back to Penn State and taught kindergarten at Grays Woods Elementary School and third grade at Ferguson Township Elementary School. This will be my third year teaching second grade at Radio Park and I am thrilled to be working at such an amazing school.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy working as a baker and have spent the past two summers working at Dolce Vita Desserts. Along with baking, I also enjoy yoga, crafting, and spending time with my husband. My husband is currently a post-doctoral fellow at Penn State working in the Biomedical Engineering department. My husband was raised in State College and we absolutely love living here!
I am committed to creating a classroom environment where your child is trusted, valued, and is an integral part of our classroom team. I am looking forward to a phenomenal year!
