• This class will help you view writing as a way to generate, organize and communicate ideas effectively and actively listen to the ideas of others and shape your own ideas into clear and effective speech. With the following theme at its heart, Adversity and Diversity: Justice around the World,  the emphasis is on developing critical thinking skills through the analysis of a variety of literary genres, with emphasis on classic and world literature, including graphic novels. Through rigorous practice in producing a variety of forms of writing for different audiences and purposes, you will work to develop a personal style while improving research, argumentative, and creative writing skills.
