    The communications department would like to give you a rundown of our various platforms to help you stay on top of  all the news, updates and notifications from around our district.

    SCASD App

    The app is a powerful and completely customizable tool for use on your smartphone. Pick which schools or teams to follow, view calendars and menus, access the Parent Portal/HAC — and that only skims the surface. Possibly the most valuable feature provides notifications. Be among the first to know of school delays, cancellations, early dismissals and other important district communications. The free app is available in the App Store and on Google Play.

    Social Media

    At the district level, we provide four platforms. Click the links below to follow our accounts: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. By following these platforms, you’ll have the latest information about everything happening around the district. Additionally, every school has a Facebook page and a Twitter account. Please search for your school’s name and follow these accounts too for postings specific to each school.

    The district, as well as each school, has a mobile-friendly, easy-to-navigate website. These sites are valuable resources as you seek information.

    Newsletter

    Once a month, we are going to send you the “SCASD Scoop,” our newsletter via email, that showcases the wonderful achievements of our students and staff. We strive to give you the best and most easily accessible communications possible.
