• Mrs. Macalus - Classroom Teacher

     

     
     
    My name is Mary Macalus and this will be my twelfth year teaching Kindergarten at Ferguson Township Elementary. 
     
    I graduated from Indiana University of PA in 1994 and  have many years of experience as an early childhood educator.
     
    My family and I live in the Stormstown area near Way Fruit Farm.
     
    I have three adult children, Michael, Gregory and Ivy, and a three year old irish setter named, Jack.
     
    My hope for every student in Room 15 is that they will feel like our classroom is an extension of home, that it's a safe place to be themselves, make mistakes, and provide a lot of opportunities to learn and grow.
