Growth Mindset:

Having a growth mindset is believing that learning can be developed through dedication and hard work. I believe this view creates a love of learning and a resilience that is essential for reaching one's full potential. It is my goal this year to share this understanding with students in a developmentally appropriate way and to develop a love for learning in a safe and care free environment. An environment where mistakes are not only accepted but celebrated. Instead of saying "I can't, or "I'm not good at that". We'll encourage students to say, "I can't YET!" or "I'm not good at that YET!" We call this the POWER of YET!
