• Attendance Magic Numbers

     

    2 - Number of weeks advance notice for Educational Trips.

     

    3 - Number of days you have to turn in an excuse note after an absence.

     

    3 -  Number of unexcused days before a First Offense (attendance warning) is filed.

     

    4 - Number of unexcused days before School Attendance Improvement Plan (SAIP) meeting will be scheduled.

     

    5 - Number of unexcused days before a Second Offense (truancy violation) is filed.

     

    10 - Number of days that parents/guardians can excuse for their child in a school year.  Excused days after the 10-day limit will require a doctor's note/excuse.
