Welcome to the 2019-20 school year! My name is Miss (Megan) Robert, and I am so excited and so grateful to be spending this school year as your son/daughter's second grade teacher! My goal is to make every day a positive one and to help your child reach his/her fullest potential. I promise that my classroom will be a warm and nurturing place for learning and that I will love and care for your child each and every day. So thank you for sharing your child with me. I’m looking forward to working together with you to make this a wonderful school year for your son or daughter!
I am from State College, Pennsylvania! I went to Radio Park Elementary School and graduated from State College Area High School in 2014. In May 2018, I graduated from Penn State with my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Pre-K to 4. During the 2017-18 school year, I taught in a second grade classroom at Gray’s Woods Elementary through the Professional Development School program (PDS). It was a year-long internship, so I was able to be in the classroom every day from the first day of school to the last. Last year, I taught second grade here at Mount Nittany Elementary and I LOVED every minute! I am so excited to be back for year #2!
In my spare time I love to go to Penn State football games and spend time with my family and friends. I also LOVE all things Disney and traveling and exploring new places. During the summer months, I help coach the Science Park Recreation Association (SPRA) swim team.
