* 80% weighted computer work, including: AND 20% weighted paper and pencil work, including:

A letter grade will be assigned to the percentage as follows:
98-100 A+; 92-97 A; 90-91 A-; 88-89 B+; 82-87 B; 80-81 B-; 78-79 C+; 72-77 C; 70-71 C-; 68-69 D+; 62-67 D; 60-61 D-; and below 60 E.
EXEMPTIONS
Because every student progresses through the content at a different pace, it is necessary to exempt assignments that have already been completed in a previous MATH 180 course, as well as assignments that have not been started, yet.
(EXAMPLE) COLOR CODED GRADING CHART FOR COMPUTER WORK
The example shown below, displays the different “Performance Levels” that may be attained by each student, for the computer work completed throughout the course. These color codes will be seen by each student during their computer work and the codes serve as an indication of their level of completion. Grades will be computed on the weighted point system, as explained above (the color codes do not impact the overall student grade).
