  • The Dimensions of Diversity Book Club for Parents, Caregivers, and the Community

    This club has evolved out of our effort to explore and learn more about the various dimensions of diversity through literature. Discussions will be hosted by Dr. Seria Chatters, the District’s Director of Equity and Inclusivity.

    The SCASD Book Club welcomes everyone including parents, caregivers, teachers, staff, administrators, secondary (6th-12th grade) students, SCASD alum, and State College and surrounding area community members.

    This year, we will be following a 3-2-1 Action format: 3 meeting dates, 2 meeting times per meeting date, 1 book. The same chapters will be discussed at both meeting times.
