  • The Dimensions of Diversity Book Club for Parents, Caregivers, and the Community

This club has evolved out of our effort to explore and learn more about the various dimensions of diversity through literature. Discussions will be hosted by Dr. Seria Chatters, the district’s director of equity and inclusivity.

While this club is specifically for SCASD parents, caregivers, and community members; we also have a book club for faculty and staff, and other opportunities for the community will be available in the future.

This year, our book club will be held in a book chat format. This will allow participants to select one of the books below. When you arrive you will get into a small group with other book clubbers that are reading the same book. During the second half of the book club, we will discuss the overarching themes of all books. Participants will also get to hear perspectives from book clubbers reading other selections. The book selections are below.

Please use the link here to sign up for the book club and make your book selection, and select whether you will attend the noon or evening book club.
