  • Hi. I am Elizabeth (Bizz) Maser and I am thrilled to be teaching STEM at PFE! I have always loved math and science and it is a privilege to teach and learn from young minds each day. I started my teaching career by teaching 2nd grade for a year and 7th/8th grade science for two years, focusing on hands on, outdoor learning experiences. I have spent the last seven years teaching and overseeing K-12 math and integrating the engineering design process and 21st century skills into math classrooms. I believe problem solving and collaboration are powerful skills that help us learn from others and tap into our own creativity!

I moved to the State College area in 2018 and live in PA Furnace with my husband, Zack, two daughters, Annabel and Alana, and dog, Teddy. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family, but I also enjoy playing and coaching basketball, playing ultimate frisbee, spending time outside, organizing, dancing, laughing, hanging out with friends, and cheering on PSU sports teams and the Philadelphia Eagles.  I coach basketball at Park Forest Middle School and like to support our State High sports teams whenever I get the chance.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Education from West Chester University and have a Master's Degree in School Counseling from Millersville University. I am always eager to learn more, so I look forward to many more learning adventures to come!

I'm excited to start a new school year filled with lots of investigating, exploring, growing, designing, coding, playing, learning, thinking, and fun!
