Come to school ready to learn with a growth mindset.
Be willing to take risks. It's okay to make mistakes. We learn from them.
Treat yourself and everyone kindly. Keep your hands and negative comments to yourself.
Always try your best. You will be proud and amazed at what you can do when you put forth your best effort.
Participate in learning. When you "do" is when you really learn.
Don't compare yourself to others. Everyone is unique and special. We all have strengths and challenges. Respect that.
Read or listen to books every day. To get better at anything, you need to practice.
Complete your classwork.
Ask for help if you need it. Talk to me if you have a concern.
Try your best so you can be proud of your efforts and accomplishments.
Speak up for yourself. You can tell others to kindly stop doing a behavior that annoys you or interferes with your learning.
Share what we are doing at school with your parents. Even though you might feel like saying, "Nothing" when they ask what we did, you and I both know you worked hard while you were at school. Be proud of what you have accomplished.
