Miss Kolenik is a Pittsburgh native who moved to State College in 2019. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English and Music from Duquesne University and her Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Pittsburgh. This is Miss Kolenik's second year at State High. In addition to teaching 11th grade and Reader's Workshop, she also advises the Key Club and is a zero-period tutoring mentor.
In her spare time, Miss Kolenik enjoys playing and writing music, hiking State College's many scenic trails, watching Jeopardy!, cooking delicious meals, and keeping up with Internet culture. Offer up a thought about Shakespeare, Taylor Swift, or musical theater and you're guaranteed to be caught in a longer conversation than you'd hoped.
