From Miss Allison:
Hello MNE community! I am excited for this amazing opportunity to work with Mrs. Myers, students, and families at Mount Nittany Elementary School. I graduated from Penn State
Altoona with a degree in Psychology in 2017. After graduation, I was employed as a counselor
with Pyramid Healthcare for a year and a half before becoming a Special Education
Paraprofessional with SCASD. For the past year, I have been employed with Mount Nittany
Elementary School working in Autistic Support as a Paraprofessional. In August of 2019, I
returned to Penn State University to obtain a Master’s of Education degree with an emphasis in
Elementary School Counseling.
I grew up in Centre County and graduated from Bald Eagle Area School District. While at Penn
State Altoona, I was a four-year softball collegiate student athlete. I am the youngest of three
with an older brother and sister. My hobbies include being outdoors, going for walks/hikes,
traveling, and spending time with family and friends. I look forward to spending time
developing relationships with all students and families at MNE!
