• Course Description:

Study Skills focuses on each student’s needs based on IEP goals, transition plans, and accommodations. As a senior class, it is our goal to best prepare students for their next step after graduation whether that is the workforce, post-secondary education/training, military training, or another post-graduation goal.

Due to the individualized aspect of Study Skills, grades are tied participation in the Study Skills class to address student’s individual IEP goals, transition goals, and other academic/transition needs.  This class is based on a Pass/Fail grading system. Since students earn 1 credit for participation in Study Skills for the year, our expectation is that our students will engage our program.

Within our classroom, we have expectations that students will follow the Academic Integrity Policy (Links to an external site.) set by the State College Area School District.
