This is a semester course. This course is open to all students who have completed the Drawing I course and who wish to continue to refine their drawing styles by gaining a working knowledge of the technology, skills and techniques employed by drawing masters. Examples of masters’ drawings are used for this purpose throughout the course. Students will use colored pencils, markers, pastels, conte and ink as they experience a concentrated study of landscape, figure and still-life color renderings. Students will select a drawing medium to produce a finished illustration. Students are required to keep sketchbooks and to submit homework assignments on a regular basis.
