Highlights of My Career:
Graduated Cum Laude from Boston College with a BS in chemistry
Earned my MS and PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Rochester
Awarded an NIH Postdoctoral Fellowship to study telomeres at the University of Colorado at Boulder
Worked with NASA to study the effects of crystallization in space. My research was loaded onto Space Shuttles and spent up to 17 days in space.
Worked with a team to solve the crystal structure of the Oxytricha nova Telomere End Binding Protein Complexed with ssDNA
Have a paper with a Nobel Prize winner, Dr. Tom Cech
Worked for the ACS as part of the editorial staff for the journal ACS Nano
Earned my MEd in Curriculum and Instruction from Penn State
