CP English 11 is an English class designed for juniors who plan to pursue a post-secondary education. Students read, analyze and interpret a variety of classic and contemporary American works including novels, short stories, drama, poetry, nonfiction and media. This course is designed to foster the development of critical thinking skills and superior communicative abilities. In this course, you will critically analyze and evaluate literature, refine your own unique writing style, and work both individually and collaboratively to represent your learning through oral, written, and creative projects. In order to be successful in this course, you must arrive with an open, eager, and collaborative mindset.
