• Fitness Center Scheduling/Usage Procedure

    Before School or during 4th Block Study Hall 2020-2021

    This sign up is for the 4th marking period. 

    If you are not certified, you can get certified duirng these periods.


    Please follow these steps/instructions to utilize the fitness center after school:

    Sign up: All students will need to sign up for a time slot. 

    1. Complete the Usage Form.(This is for individual sign up only, NOT for teams.)

      • You only complete this form ONCE...unless you are requesting to change the day(s)/time you already submitted.
    2. Complete a Permission Form if you have not already turned one in for this school year.  (either using the online form and email it do dcs24@scasd.org or print it out and bring in).

    3. Complete the appropriate Fitness Club Form: 

    4. Wait to receive an email from Mrs. Swauger indicating the day(s)/time you have been scheduled.  (This may take a day or 2, so your patience is greatly appreciated.)

    After receiving your email, you may attend on your scheduled day(s).

    Procedure for Usage:

    1. Follow the Healthy and Safety Guidelines as approved by the school board.

    2. Complete the fitness center health screening form: Faculty/Staff/Student  WITHIN ONE HOUR PRIOR to using the fitness center. 

      • Important: this will be checked and you will not be permitted to use the facility if you have not completed the form.  Thank you.

    3. Arrive for Workout and wait at the doors to be admitted.

      1. Use hand sanitizer upon entering.

      2. Sign In:

        • Students: use ID to swipe

      3. Wear a Mask (have a spare).

      4. Maintain Physical Distance (Keep 3 Blocks Apart = 6 feet).

      5. Follow all procedures as outlined in the Health and Safety Guidelines (link above).

    4. WORKOUT! :-) 

      1. Clean each piece of equipment BEFORE AND AFTER each use.  Reminder: allow the spray to sit for 45 seconds prior to wiping it off for use. 

      2. Individual Students: we will begin using a workout APP.  Stay tuned for details.

        1. Be here on time (2:10)
        2. Complete the warm-up and agility drills as assigned.
      4. BEFORE SCHOOL GROUP:           
        *Be on time and ready to use the room at 7:44.  (You will receive one warning about being tardy if a second time occurs you may lose your spot for  the training in morning)
        *Complete the warm-up and agility drills as assigned.
        *Be efficient as time goes quickly.

    5. End of your workout: 

      1. Clean everything you use. 

      2. Use hand sanitizer (or wash your hands) as you exit.

      3. Go directly outside to your prearranged ride; do not linger.  

    6. See you again soon!
