The State College Area School District began the search for a new superintendent on April 18, 2022. Throughout the process, the Board of Directors will keep the community informed through email communications, press releases and this website. You are always welcome to contact the Board of Directors using the email address all-board@scasd.org

    We very much appreciate the participation of so many stakeholders throughout the district at our superintendent search town halls over the past two months. The input has been informative and enlightening!


    Thus far, all input provided to our search consultant has been compiled and shared with the Board of Directors. However, since not all interested stakeholders were able to attend a town hall, we are also providing the opportunity for input through this community survey


    Please submit your survey responses by November 18. 


    Along with the input already received, your responses will enhance the Board’s ability to select the best candidate to lead the State College Area School District into the future. This feedback also helps us to better understand the community's priorities and needs, as our Board and administrative team make decisions moving forward.
