    Hello! My name is Amanda Nyman and I am one of the Title 1 teachers at Mount Nittany Elementary. I'm very excited to be starting a new school year at Mount Nittany!! 

                                                       
    This will be my seventh year at Mt. Nittany Elementary after teaching for many years at Park Forest Elementary.   I am looking forward to meeting and working with new students this year.  


    I live in Boalsburg with my husband, Jordan and our children Conner and Morgan.  Along with Conner and Morgan, we have a cat, Oliver, and a dog, Cash.   They keep us very busy!      After school and during the weekends, I like to spend time with my friends and family. I enjoy watching sports, (especially Florida State football, the Phillies, and PSU wrestling) reading, hiking, going shopping, and going to concerts or sporting events. 

     
    I am thankful to have the opportunity to teach Reading to a variety of grades this year. I look forward to working with your child and hope to help them become successful students!

    Favorite vacation spots: the beach or lake, Jamaica

    Favorite Sports to watch:  college football and wrestling
    Favorite Free Time Activities: spending time with friends and family and running
    Favorite part of teaching: teaching kids to read!
