    MEET MRS. WILSON

I am so excited for you to join our loving, fun, and supportive classroom community!  Mrs. Baker and I love each and every one of you already, and we can't wait to watch you grow as 2nd graders this year!

Here is a little bit about me!

    Professional Background:

I graduated Summa Cum Laude (with highest honors) in December of 2000 from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education/Special Education.  Currently, I hold a Level 2, Permanent Teaching Certificate for the state of PA.  I am certified to teach grades K-6.

This is my 23rd year of teaching. I began my teaching career here in the State College School District.  I have taught at Park Forest Elementary since the beginning of my career.   I first taught for 7 years in both 3rd and 4th grades, respectively.  I am now in my 16th year as part of the PFE Primary division.

    Personal Background:

My son, Reese, is 15 years old.  He is starting his Sophomore year at State College Area High School.   Reese loves to play sports, so we spend a lot of our free time attending practices and games.   He plays for the State High Football team.  His summer was full of team workouts and practices, along with lots of fun times with his friends.  I love watching him grow into a very hardworking, kind and independent young man.
