About Mrs. Stroschein
This is my 26th year teaching in the State College Area School District. After student teaching in a fifth-grade classroom at Park Forest Elementary School in State College, I received my Bachelor's Degree at Penn State University in 1994. I have taught almost every grade level from K-5, and although I have loved teaching every grade level, there is aboslutely nothing like the joy of kindergarten. I look forward to the wonder and excitement that kindergarten children bring to the classroom each day!
I live in Lemont with my husband and two children. Becca is a sophomore at Penn State and Ben is a sophomore at State High. We have a three-year-old silky terrier/bichon dog, Kaia, that we all love dearly. As a family, we love traveling together, especially on our annual vacations to Walt Disney World and Ocean City, MD. When the weather is warm, you'll spot us doing something as a family, whether it is going for a walk, riding rides at DelGrosso Park, camping at a local park, kayaking at Prince Galitzin, hiking up Mt. Nittany, or splashing around Park Forest or Welch pools!
My hobbies include traveling (especially to amusement parks), playing games, camping, shopping, going to PSU games and swimming. Playing mom to two teenagers take most of my spare time right now, but I enjoy that role very much! We are a family that loves to be on the go; you'll hardly ever find us at home!
