Sustainable features are noteworthy and vital components of State College Area School District’s new buildings and all five have earned LEED certification. “State College has been leading the way in sustainability for more than 10 years,” says architect Jeff Straub.
ESL students from around the world prepared a traditional holiday feast. Everyone dug into plates laden with turkey and gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, applesauce, green beans, cranberry sauce, cornbread and, of course, pumpkin pie — a true taste of American culture.
