Here’s the layout for the Radio Park Garden this year. In reality, the garden looks more or less like the plan below. It helped that we changed the plan after the children planted everything. Also, somehow a cucumber plant ended up in the Three Sisters bed, so we might be the only garden in North America with a “Four Sisters” garden. Note the untidy border flanking the compost bins will eventually become a snazzy utility area, with benches, fruiting shrubs, and maybe a kiwi vine or two. We have the kiwi vines, but they keep being set back by late freezes in the past few years. Concord grapes are looking more attractive each year, and would look great over the pergola!
