Counseling Services
The mission of the State College Area Middle School Counseling Department is to provide support services and curricular programs that contribute to the development of individuals who demonstrate life long learning skills, embrace cultural diversity, show respect for self and the rights of others, and practice good citizenship. As recommended by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Pennsylvania School Counselors Association, our guidance and counseling programs focus on personal, social, educational, and career development.The services and programs that our Counseling Department offer include:
- Educational Support and Planning
- Career Education and Development Initiatives
- Conflict Resolution, Anti-Bullying, and Social Programs
