The State College Area School District is currently in the third year of a six-year strategic plan. Our 2007-2013 plan consists of a series of plans in accordance with the requirements of the PA Department of Education (PDE). All plans were developed, reviewed by the SCASD Board of School Directors, and submitted to PDE between May and December of 2007.

Below you will find two perspectives of our 2007-2013 PA Academic Standards Report.
The 2007-2008 Strategic Plan Evaluation Report contains progress statements for each of our six goals and their concomitant strategies. These progress statements reflect the steps taken by the district during the first year of our plan, as well as articulating the priorities activities 2008-2009. The 2008 Strategic Plan Action Plan document is the articulation of all action plans for each of the district’s six goals. Additionally, this document identifies the leader(s) responsible for each area of the plan. The document is updated through an annual review process in order to report progress to the Board of School Directors and the community (please see 2007-2008 Strategic Plan Evaluation Report), as well as finalize priority action steps for the next year.
