- Come in for extra help during areas or before school.
- When correcting homework, you are responsible for the correct answer and work.
- Don't erase your work; use your red pen to write out the correct answer and work. (This way when you review your assignments, you’ll remember where you made mistakes)
- DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS!!!
TESTS & QUIZZES- Don’t cram the night before. Review the material each night.
- Do practice problems. Ask for the additional practice packet.

- When taking the test/quiz, read all the questions on the test first. This will help you pace yourself.
- If you don’t know the answer to a question, circle the problem number, and return to it at the end of the test.
STEPS FOR PROBLEM SOLVING- Read the problem carefully. Reread if necessary.
- Decide what the problem is asking. What are you looking for.
