Boalsburg High School, formerly Harris Township High School, stopped handing out diplomas after 1946. After a brief stint as a business school, the building became an elementary school. Its former students began to attend State College High School.
Now, because of the new Mount Nittany Elementary School, the building will go through yet another metamorphosis. This time it will play host to St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy.
