Pennsylvania School Health Law requires dental examinations of Kindergarten, new students to the district, all 3rd graders, all 7th graders and any students who have no record of a dental exam on file. 

We strongly encourage you to take your child to your private dentist since he or she can best evaluate your child and make the necessary recommendations. An examination performed 12 months prior to the start of school and anytime during the school year is accepted.

Dental exams are offered at school if you are unable to have your child examined by your personal dentist. These exams are usually scheduled in the spring of the current school year.
