Partners in Music 

What is it?

The Partners in Music program creates the opportunity for young instrumentalists and prospective music teachers to make music together.

Over four Wednesdays in the fall semester, fifth-grade students from the eight SCASD elementary schools, OLV, and Young Scholars rehearse on Penn State Campus, conducted by senior and junior music education majors.  The rehearsals culminate in a concert at State College Area High School.   Band students rehearse at the Blue Band Building.  Orchestra students rehearse at Music Building 1.
