Message sent via ParentSquare to all current K-5 SCASD families on Monday May 5, 2025
Good afternoon,
CEEL (Community Education Extended Learning) is an elementary afterschool program with a focus on extended learning opportunities in the areas of art, STEM, language and physical activity. We partner with area youth program providers such as Jana Marie Foundation, Hoop Stars, Discovery Space, Millbrook Marsh, Adam Swartz Puppets, and Lincoln Caverns to provide enriching, engaging opportunities for students.
The program runs each school day from dismissal until 5:30 p.m. at Corl Street, Easterly Parkway, Ferguson Township, Gray's Woods, Mount Nittany Elementary, Park Forest Elementary, Radio Park and Spring Creek. A morning program* is available at each school from 7:30 a.m. until 7:55 a.m. Program fees and additional details can be found here.
If you are interested in registering for the program, please read on.

· Registrations are for the current school year only.
· If your child is waitlisted, when a space becomes available you will receive an email notification at the primary email associated with your online registration account. Waitlist offers throughout the summer are typically emailed on Mondays with a deadline to reply/accept the offer by Friday at 10:00 a.m. I encourage you to check your email/spam folder each Monday throughout the summer. Offer emails are typically sent by our department secretary Heather Wagner (hbw14@scasd.org). Adding her email to your contacts may help prevent messages being sent to spam.
