We are looking for dynamic, energetic individuals to work at our CEEL program!

  • CEEL (Community Education Extended Learning) is an afterschool program for students in kindergarten through 5th grade

  • The program operates from 2:45-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday each school day

  • Flexible schedules are available

  • Support staff plan and engage students in structured activities, such as academic enrichment, art, read alouds, board games, physical activity, building with blocks, and crafts. Staff also help support our providers such as Discovery Space, Millbrook Marsh, Soccer Shots and more during enrichment classes. 

  • CEEL is held at Corl Street, Easterly Parkway, Ferguson Township, Gray's Woods, Mount Nittany, Park Forest, Radio Park, and Spring Creek Elementary Schools. Click here to view a map showing all the locations. 

  • All sites are within a 15-minute drive from the PSU campus. One site is within walking distance and another location is on a good bus route. 

  • Reasonable pay ($15.83/hour for 2024-25 school year) and friendly staff

  • Qualifications: 
    • High school diploma or GED AND 2,500 hours experience working with children
    • OR high school diploma/GED AND at least 30 college credits in education or human services fields (ie psychology, HDFS, BBH, history, sociology, nursing, etc)

    • You will be sent a pre-interview questionnaire and once that is completed, and we verify you meet the requirements, you will be contacted by the coordinator or a program supervisor to schedule an interview.
