No Place For Hate

No Place for Hate

No Place for Hate is a program helping all stakeholders take the lead on improving and maintaining the school climate so all students can thrive. All middle and secondary schools are participating in the initiative. To receive the No Place for Hate designation, each school must complete the following:

  • A survey assessing school climate for bullying and bias-related behaviors
  • The formation of a No Place for Hate committee
  • The signing of the Resolution of Respect
  • Designing and implementing three school-wide anti-bias or bullying prevention activities

Upon completion of the required program components, each school will receive a No Place for Hate banner that can be proudly displayed in the school.

All middle and secondary schools have formed No Place for Hate committees, administered the survey, and signed the Resolution of Respect. Schools are now working to design and implement their school-wide No Place for Hate activities.
