Helping Hands Pantry
Helping Hands Pantry
The mission of the Helping Hands Pantry is to eliminate barriers connecting families with resources and removing the stigma of using the food bank.
The Helping Hands Pantry is a partnership between the State College Food Bank and the Family and Community and Engagement. The pantry is a two-part service in which one half of it is food, donated to the district by the food bank. The other half of the pantry is personal hygiene items, household products, and school supplies.
These items are donated by the community either through events, drop-offs or by the Target Registry.
A few of our fellow partnerships: SCASD Foundation, local church organizations, Centre Safe, Housing Transitions, Centre County MH/ID office, and individual SCASD school buildings.
If interested in receiving items from the pantry, please fill out the Needs Assessment form.
