As a public school employee in Pennsylvania, you contribute to the Public School Employees' Retirement System (PSERS). Upon being hired, PSERS will be in contact with you regarding your enrollment into the retirement program. For more information for new hires please click here.

Your contributions will earn interest and will be returned to you, along with the interest earned, when you terminate employment prior to having served for ten years. For more information about leaving employment prior to becoming vested, please click here.
