Title IX Overview

The State College Area School District is currently in the process of updating information, policies, resources, and training to align with new 2024 Title IX regulations, as released by the U.S. Department of Education.

Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 prohibits discrimination of students and employees on the basis of sex in any federally funded education program or activity.  This website contains a full complement of Title IX information and resources, including District contact information, a process overview, and reporting resources.  Board policies reinforce the District's commitment to Title IX adherence as well as provide that all persons in the District's educational and employment environment do so in a safe, positive environment that is free from all forms or harassment and discrimination.

All District employees are required to review the  "Title IX Regulations:  What You Need to Know!" presentation included in the Training and Resources tab.
