Registration and enrollment

To be eligible for enrollment in the State College Area School District, parents or legal guardians must be residents in our school district and the student must be residing in that home on a permanent basis. To enroll in kindergarten, a student must be 5 on or before August 31 of the school year of enrollment.
Note - If your child is already enrolled in the district, there is no need to re-register.
Documentation required at time of registration:
- Copy of birth certificate or passport
- Immunization records. For immunization questions, call 877-724-3258. If you require an immunization appointment and do not have insurance, email for assistance.
- Proof of residency (current utility bill or signed lease agreement/mortgage deed) District Residency Form
Should you wish to submit a paper registration form, please utilize this fillable pdf and email the completed form and required documents to registrar@scasd.org. Be sure to indicate whether you wish to enroll in the 2025-26 school year or the 2026-27 school year.
