I am originally from Towson, Maryland where I grew up with my twin sister and three brothers. I now live with my husband, Colin who works for Medtronic and we have two sons named Mason and Hunter. I received my BS degree in Psychology from Towson University. I went on to receive my masters in teaching in Special Education from Towson University as well. I began teaching at a nonpublic school in Towson, MD for students with special needs. I worked there for three years and then became a general education teacher at Summit Park Elementary School in Pikesville, Maryland where I taught 5th grade and special education for two years. I moved to State College in 2014 and began the 2014 school year as a paraprofessional in the learning support room. I then became the teacher of the learning support classroom in November 2014. I am so happy to be teaching again and working with students of all ages.

In my free time I love being with my sons and watching them grow.  I enjoy spending time outside doing things like gardening, running, and hiking. I enjoy visiting my twin sister and my niece and nephews on the weekends. I love swimming and taking our yearly vacation to Dewey beach with my family as well.
