Christina ManningAssistant Principal, State College Area High School South
Mrs. Christina Manning is the 9th grade Assistant Principal in the South Building. She oversees the High School 9th Grade Learning community, providing leadership and supervising various events.
Mrs. Manning joined the SCASD family in February of 2010 as the Emotional Support Teacher in the South building. She entered into the world of administration in State College in the spring of 2013.
Prior to coming to State College, she spent seven and a half years in the Bellefonte Area School District. For six of those years, she was located at Marion Walker Elementary where she worked as the learning, emotional and autistic support teacher. Before moving to Marion Walker, she was the special education teacher in the High School's Alternative Education Program.

Mrs. Manning lives with her husband, Shanon, three daughters, two dogs, a cat and chickens in Bellefonte. When she's not at work, she is busy taking their daughters to all of their activities. Addyson, age 14, plays softball and soccer. Ragan, age 10, participates in softball and soccer. Reese, the eight-year-old (and the boss) enjoys participating in soccer. When she is not driving their girls to activities or is at a ball field, she enjoys reading, taking hikes with their family and working outside around their property.
