     About Mr. Chamberlain...

This school year, 2023-2024, will be my 17th year of teaching.  This is my 9th year in the State College Area School District.  I graduated from Juniata College in 2007 with my BS in Secondary Education/Mathematics.  In 2011, I received my MS from Drexel University in Mathematics Learning and Teaching.  I will emphasize all year to: be kind, be safe, be gritty, and be curious.  In a world where you can be anything, BE KIND!

“We sometimes think of being good at mathematics as an innate ability. You either have “it” or you don’t… But, it is not so much ability as attitude. You master mathematics if you are willing to try...Success is a function of persistence and doggedness and the willingness to work hard for twenty-two minutes to make sense of something that most people would give up on after thirty seconds.”

― Malcolm Gladwell, Outliers: The Story of Success

Human Beings are never going to be perfect... The best we can do is keep asking for help and accepting it when you can.  And if you keep on doing that, you'll always be moving towards better." - Higgins (Ted Lasso)
