READ 180 and System 44 are reading interventions designed to improve the reading comprehension and fluency of students in grades 3-12. These programs were selected by the district because they include the all the components of a successful reading intervention including:
READ 180 is an intensive reading intervention program designed to meet the needs of students who are reading below grade level. This program directly addresses individual needs through teacher-directed lessons, adaptive software, age-appropriate nonfiction and fiction texts, and data-driven instruction.
