                                               Physics is life

The State High Physics Club was founded in 2015 by a group of students seeking to learn more about physics and physics research outside of the confines of the classroom. The purpose of the club is to nurture  a passion for one of the fundamental sciences and give students the opportunity to hear guest lectures by Penn State faculty as well as prepare for academic competitions and perform lab experimentation beyond that encountered in the traditional courses.

Physics club is not just for those interested in physics. Any student considering a STEM major or career would be well served by what physics club has to offer. Attendance at Physics Club events can count toward the supplemental learning hours required to earn scholarship in the STEM SLC. Ultimately, the club is open to anyone who desires to learn more about physics, regardless of intended future endeavors.
