 | Hello! Welcome back to school for the 2016-2017 school year! I have been a learning support teacher at Ferguson Township for 15 years. Ferguson is a wonderful place and I truly enjoy coming to work to teach your children each day!
A little about me...
I have lived in State College for 33 years. I graduated from State High in 1992. I attended Penn State University and received my B.S. degree in Elementary and Kindergarten Education. I also attended Lock Haven University where I received my special education certification. In August of 2004 I completed my graduate work and received my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in the area of Language and Literacy Education. I have been teaching in the SCASD since Dec. 1999. I have been the learning support teacher at Ferguson since Sept. 2000.
My husband and I live in Boalsburg. We have a seven year old son and three kitties named Rocky, Isabelle & Callie. We enjoy outdoor activities which include: gardening, walking, hiking and tent camping.
Mrs. Brown and I are looking forward to working with all of the children and their families this year!! If you would ever like to speak to me or communicate via e-mail please feel free to get in touch with me! Thank you!
