    Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year in Room 87! Mr. Roth is beginning his 12th year teaching at Gray's Woods Elementary, and his 14th year teaching overall. This is his 3rd year in 5th grade. 

    Prior to becoming an elementary teacher, Mr. Roth worked as an instructional designer and trainer at Penn State and in private industry. He also spent a little time in Los Angeles working for a film production company. He has a Masters of Education in Instructional Systems Design from Penn State.

    Mr. Roth has been playing and coaching soccer since he was 6 years old. After 10 years as the Head Coach at Park Forest Middle School, he is now an Assistant Coach with the State High Girls Soccer Team.
