Welcome to Room 71!
My name is Dana Saylor and I'm the learning support teacher for kindergarten through third grade at Gray's Woods! I've enjoyed teaching learning support at Gray's Woods since it opened in 2002. Wow, how time flies when you're having fun! My passion is in teaching students to read and introducing them to books that make them excited about reading! In addition to teaching reading, I also support students in the subjects of spelling, writing, and math. I consider myself very lucky to be a part of the Gray's Woods Family.
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my husband, Allen, and teenage daugter, Diane. Together, we enjoy spending time gardening, hiking, fishing, swimming, playing board games, baking, and of course reading good books! We have two family pets, our dog Cadie and a guinea pig named Buzz!
I look forward to another amazing year at GW and I'm excited to work together with you!
