• The State College Area School District is proud to offer art and design instruction to all of our students at every grade level.  K-5 students meet with an art specialist for 10 consecutive times, at least 3 times per year, grade 6 students once every 3 days, grades 7-8 every day for 9 weeks of the year, and 9-12 can choose from an extensive list of elective courses as well as an after school art club and art honor society.
    The Art and Design Department builds curriculum based on The National Standards for Visual and Media Arts as well as the PA State Standards in Arts and Humanities.
