• What is the Mount Nittany Elementary School PTO?

The Mount Nittany Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is pleased to support the families and staff of Mount Nittany Elementary School by coordinating fun, enriching school-wide events and programming.

The PTO meets monthly during the school year to plan events. Family members, guardians, staff and teachers are all invited to attend. Meetings are held in the Library from 6:30-7:30 in the evening.

Fundraising occurs year-round to support PTO events. We are a non-profit organization, so all monetary donations are tax-deductible and payable to MNE PTO. Donations can also be accepted via PayPal.

All events and programming wouldn't be possible without our fantastic volunteers! Thank you for giving your time, talents and resources. Membership is free and all MNE staff and families are welcome.

    What do we do?
PTO funding supportsschool field trips, classroom activities, student school supplies, clubs, books, spirit wear for incoming students, playground equipment, and family functions. Some family events include Free Friday Movie Nights, Litfest, Fun Run, and Exploration Fair. All students at MNE benefit from PTO sponsored events and programming. Come see how you can make an impact on students!

    How can you help?

    • Volunteer your time and talents - there are opportunites to volunteer at home, at school, or at an event!
    • Donate supplies, funds, refreshments, etc.
    • Participate in various fundraisers. Choose what your family would like to participate in. There is no obligation to participate in fundraising event(s).

Last year we raised enough money to fund approximately $50.00/student for activities and programming. If you prefer to offer a monetary donation to the PTO, please make checks payable to Mount Nittany Elementary PTO (MNE PTO) or donate via PayPal
We greatly appreciate your generous support!
