To access student schedules by phone in ParentVue:As for the schedule, here are the steps:1. Click on your student's name2. Click on "Class Schedule". (note- it will say "Today with an arrow pointing down to the right, and it looks blank). Click on the arrow down and select "MP1" where they can see homeroom and the schedule.For buses, click "Student Info" (at the same menu where "Class Schedule" was)At the very bottom right, click "Additional Information"this gives access to Schlow Library Card number, Gender ID and Preferred Pronouns, and under all that is the bus information.To access student schedules on a computer, the "Student Info" shows it all without having to click "Additional Information"To find your child's Team, please go to Student Info on the left hand side and scroll down to House/Team Section. There you will find the abbreviation for your child's team.

New Virtual Academy Assistant Principal
The district welcomes Rebecca Michaels, our new Virtual Academy Assistant Principal, who was approved on Sept. 18. She will start in late November. Rebecca comes to the district from Mifflin County School District, where she was the assistant principal of Indian Valley Elementary Center.

Radio Park Named National Blue Ribbon School
When Kristin Miller announced to her first-grade students the news that Radio Park Elementary had been selected as 2023 National Blue Ribbon School, their reaction was natural. “They were like, ‘Oh, that’s awesome,’” Miller recalled. “But then they asked, ‘So, everybody gets blue ribbons?’”

Wanted: School Bus Drivers
Mirroring a national trend, the State College Area School District is starting the school year in need of more school bus drivers. The shortage has prompted SCASD to eliminate five bus runs through consolidation, leading to longer travel times and late arrivals in some cases.

Summer Agricultural Experiences for Students
Throughout the summer, students maintained more than 25 Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) projects, which included livestock, equine and work experience projects. Students logged over 3,805 hours working on their SAE projects, and devoted over $25,120 to their efforts.

State High Seniors Paint Their Parking Spaces
For the first time ever, State College Area High School seniors were given the opportunity to paint their parking spaces. Over 200 students signed up for the event which turned out to be a huge success.
